Site visit update

Hi everyone,

This week has been quite busy regarding work being done on the house. To name a few we had Roofing, slab repairs, wrapping, plumbing and brick delivery.

So with that in mind we decided to go out for a look this morning. The roofing job is really good. Sarking is installed correctly (thanks to a forum member who gave me the write documents to check this).

We picked up a few issues such as HWS piping in wrong location as we had chosen to move it closer to the rear of the house but nothing major.

Plenty of photos this time around.

We have a roof over our heads...

Our Colorbond roofing was completed yesterday. The colour used is called 'Monument'. We think it looks great :)

Some of your may notice that the temporary downpipes are not all installed. Actually, they were but as they were not done correctly the strong wind has 'disconnected' them. I have spoken to our SS and he is going to personally re-install them ASAP as he understand my concerns. Top bloke.

While I was taking photos, there was a contractor on site preparing the DPC sheeting and wrapping the house with the foil sheet. Looking forward to seeing the house wrapped up on the weekend.
