Bricks Washed

Hi All,

Our bricks were washed last week and I finally managed to take some photos of the whole house today. I couldn't be happier with the quality of workmanship applied to our bricks.

There are only a few spots that I think need touch-ups but I am just being the picky customer that I am!

Here they are.

Here are the parts that I am being super picky with! Please note that PD have not yet 'Quality Inspected' the brickwork so this is just purely myself going over the brickwork with a fine tooth comb.

Slight zig/zag affect in alfresco and front corners.

Update - Paint Prep

Hi All,

Sorry our blog has been neglected the last week. I have been overseas and didn't really know what was happening on site.

I landed this morning and my first stop was the house! A lot has been done the last week and it includes;

  • Bricks washed - Sorry it was a wet day so not many photos

  • Stone bench tops installed

  • Front door installed

  • Roof antenna installed - Sorry no photo

We were lucky enough to have had the painter on-site starting the pre-paint prep work and he was nice to invite us in and show us around. It's quite obvious the massive job at hand and I think it will be a minimum of a week before we see the painting completed.

As for 'build issues' there is nothing major to report out thankfully, just a few aesthetic issues that we will populate our PCI check-list with. We are communicating them to our SS but not really pushing for them to be rectified now as we know there's no point.

We've been told that we are still on track for an end of July completion which is the deadline set out by the contract but seeing the house today we are unsure if/how this will be achieved.

Let's see!
