Most of the actual issues seem to be caused by contractors being careless. For example; when our bricks were delivered we had two storm water pipes damaged.
I kind of feel like I'm in a never ending PACMAN game. The yellow dots representing our build issues.
The biggest my list ever got to was 480.

DeleteKnow how you feel - our build is at the point where nothing can progress until they address our issues. Here's hoping they resolve yours as they go instead of waiting until it is absolutely necessary.
ReplyDeleteNothing worse than going back to site and not seeing issues that were raised weeks or months ago still not fixed.
DeleteTo be fair though it's not our Site Supervisor's fault. He actually printed off the 'Build Issues List' I sent him and went through it with the framer and lock-up crew. The problem is getting them back to do all the repair jobs is a never ending battle for our SS from what I can see at least.
They only fix some of the things we raise cause they are not getting paid for it and have already been paid for this job and moved onto another site.
