To be fair, this hasn't been checked by our Site Supervisor yet but here is a summary of the mistakes the electricians made (these are not mistakes in the drawings);
- Two external GPO's supposed to be doubles but they installed singles
- One internal power point also supposed to be double but single installed
- Point for future pendant in wrong location and on the same circuit as future down light point
- Rear garage flood lamp location has only a junction box installed. We paid and opted for a light with sensor to be installed.
I'm sure these will all go rectified. SS and PD have been good like that.
Hey Joe, try not to stress too much about some of electrical items. We found the same and I wanted to see if they would be corrected without my intervention. Surely enough a couple of days later single GPOs turned into doubles, items in wrong location moved, we even had a downlight missing that was installed in the correct spot.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how they work but they must install whatever they have left over and replace when next out on site with the correct item.
I would think this isn't the most efficient way and if it was me doing it would make sure I had all items required for a job before heading out there, especially if I was paid per job.
Hi Troy, Thanks for the advice mate! Will definitely take that on board. Great to hear they quickly fixed up your items.
DeleteI'm pretty confident the SS will get it all sorted for us :)
Yea I agree too. Seems silly to do it that way. Maybe they are mistakes and just get picked up by the SS.
Cheers!
