Progress update - Data, vents, tv wiring etc...

Hi All,

Our heating and cooling vents are going in today. Unfortunately, the bright spark that cut the plaster managed cut the hole a little too big on one of the vents. Let's see how they are going to fix this one.





Other things that happened/happening on site are. Data (Argus), TV pre-wiring, roof panel/gutter repairs etc... Going so fast and getting so close now!

  1. Hey Joe, we have the same issue with 2 vents. I'll leave it for my SS to correct and see how it looks at PCI.

    Good to see things are progressing nicely. Great outcome with the front taps also... especially since it didn't cost anything!

  2. Hi Joe,

    I am currently building the Dunedin 31 in Trillium and they have used the incorrect hinge's and draw runners in our kitchen. If you got the kitchen upgrade pack they are suppose to upgrade the hinges and draw runners to the more expensive "Blum" brand rather than the cheaper Hettick brand. Probably worth a check to make sure your getting what you paid for.

  3. Hi Joe,

    Best thing to do would be to inspect the hinges/soft close and check the brand, my partner works in the kitchen industry are told me the blum ones are quite a bit more expensive. I do have a photo but i can't post it as a comment, just look at the circle bit of the hinge that's where the brand should be.

      You were right they installed hettich brand and our original brochure says Blum. Did they end up replacing yours? Who did you raise the issue to..BC?

      I noticed they since delete the word 'Blum' from all the contracts, brochures etc... must be too much $$ to install.

  4. Hi Joe,

    i raised this with my SS, and am in discussion to have them replaced, i really think they don't want to replace them because it would be expensive. Mayby they could offer us some kind or credit? not sure at this stage.
